Hi friends, this is Dr. Michael Williams and welcome to Season 2 of the diversify in path podcast.
For those who are either new or returning, this podcast explores how investing in diversity can lead to a high return of investment in pathology and laboratory medicine by learning from the knowledge and experiences of diverse voices within in our field.
Season 2 brings about more of the conversations about diversity in pathology, where I would love for you to be a fly on the wall and listen to the conversations between me and my guests … conversations that you may not be cognizant of happening… but are discussions that aim in bringing awareness to continued improvement of diversity, equity and inclusion in pathology and laboratory medicine.
I also wanted to take this time out to thank all the laboratory professionals at a time where a new COVID variant is once again overwhelming the healthcare system. I am sorry that mental fatigue and burnout have become more of a common occurrence and wanted to drop a line to say I see you and hope you are doing ok.
